National maintenance and construction contractor Novus Property Solutions has revealed plans to create 250 new jobs in the next five years as part of its ambitious five-year growth plan.
The business, whose headquarters are based in Stoke-on-Trent, wants to have a 1,000-strong workforce and a turnover of more than £250 million by 2026.
It also wants to strengthen its presence in a number of key sectors.
Over the last 12 months, Novus – which currently employs more than 750 people across 20 海角视频 offices – has invested in the recruitment of several new senior members of staff to help it to achieve its long-term goal.
Commercial director Matt Hiley said: "We have ambitious growth targets for the next five years – and despite the pandemic, we have taken the decision to stick to those targets rather than revising downwards as some companies have.
"Earlier this year, we undertook an in-depth market analysis to help us identify the opportunities, and we are now targeting specific customers and specific contract values.
"We see our main growth opportunities as being in education, healthcare, and housing maintenance. Currently, we have an excellent reputation for service across all three sectors, but still hold a small market share, which we would like to expand.
"Our aim is to grow our market share by building long-standing, meaningful partnerships with a core group of key clients who we work with year on year. We're investing in building those relationships now, putting in place technological innovations that will help us to improve our service delivery."

As part of its growth plans, Novus is investing in the development of a ‘compliance’ service to allow it to become an accredited supplier and installer of passive fire protection.
It is also looking at other ways to diversify including how it can provide energy services to assist its clients with their net zero targets through new technologies.
Matt said: "Novus has been seen as a well-kept secret within the industry for some time. We have an excellent reputation for customer service, with a large proportion of our work generated from repeat business.
"We want to preserve this personal and caring approach to projects, which has been a strength of ours for many years, while also recognising that the time has come for us to set our sights on larger contracts and to develop ongoing partnerships with our key clients.
"In order to rise to the challenge, we are ensuring we engage with potential clients early in the process, offering creative solutions for their projects, and building lasting and mutually beneficial relationships for the future.
"Ultimately, our business development objective is to grow the size and value of our contracts, while still offering our clients the personal service and outstanding levels of expertise they have come to associate with the Novus brand."
