A&R Cleaning & Security Services was founded in 2010 by husband and wife team Ashley and Rayner Davies and is set to continue its impressive growth rate in 2021.
The Bridgend firm, which featured in the Fast Growth 50 list of the fastest growing indigenous firms in Wales, now service over 250 clients across Wales and Herefordshire and has grown its workforce to over 300 employees.
The company has set out ambitious growth plans with 拢10m revenues and providing an additional 500 roles over the next five years.
Babi Pur

Ethical toy firm Babi Pur has nearly doubled its staff numbers since a move to a new headquarters in Porthmadog, with further expansion planned.
The company was set up by Peter and Jolene Barton in Penrhyndeudraeth after the birth of their own children back in 2007.
Since taking on 35,000 sq ft unit at Gelert House the business has continued to boom despite the pandemic, with a growing workforce of 44.
Bad Wolf

2021 will be another hugely busy year for TV production firm Bad Wolf.
A third season of His Dark Materials has been greenlit in another boost to Wales鈥 expanding creative industries sector.
It means that along with a third season A Discovery of Witches and a second series of Industry more than 400 people will be working at Wolf Studio Wales in Cardiff Bay听 from now until the end of 2021.
Bad Wolf also has a strategy of developing a Welsh-based supply chain.
So far the production of His Dark Materials alone has spent 拢50m services from companies based in Wales, with series three, its anticipated it will spend over 拢35m.
Bond Digital Healthcare

Medtech firm Bond Digital Health has expansion very much on the agenda having recently听 secured a 拢1.2m equity investment to support its growth plans.
The finance will fund further business growth, product development and expansion into new global markets.
Bond鈥檚 connectivity and data platform, Transform, collects and stores data from lateral flow diagnostic tests 鈥 the same type of rapid tests that are being widely used in the Covid-19 outbreak.
Business Butler

Swansea start-up the Business Butler, which provides SMEs with expert business advice, recently a six-figure investment to support its 海角视频-wide expansion plans.
With an official launch in Swansea and Cardiff in September, Bristol is scheduled to follow early in 2021 followed by Birmingham, Nottingham. In total 200 towns and cities throughout the 海角视频 have been identified as viable locations for Business Butler.
Business Butler, founded by its chief executive Bhupinder Sidhu, has developed a web-based business matching engine that connects small business users wit vetted local professionals across a range of disciplines from accountants to corporate lawyers.
Codeherent

One of Wales鈥 most promising tech firms, Codeherent is upbeat on 2021, for its intuitive software platform that enables businesses to manage their cloud infrastructure.
The Newport-based firm, which came out of the graduate entrepreneurship programme from the Alacrity Foundation, centralises computer processing and storage facilities in data centres, cloud computing allows organisations to avoid the up-front costs associated with the acquisition of in-house IT infrastructure.
Businesses using Codeherent鈥檚 platform can reduce cloud costs, accelerate cloud adoption, and improve IT security.
Dulas

Solar cold chain specialist Dulas has further expansion on its radar having recently secured its biggest ever order with 780 vaccine refrigerators to Nigeria.
Dulas, based in Machynlleth, has provided innovative solar powered solutions to remote and off-grid locations for more than three decades.
Its products help to support the delivery of essential medical aid in developing communities across the world.
The Nigerian Ministry of Health chose Dulas from UNICEF鈥檚 list of approved suppliers after a competitive tendering process.
EKF Diagnostics

EKF Diagnostics is a gem in Wales' life sciences sector.
The diagnostics sector never been in better shape with its immediate testing capacity for diseases such as diabetes and other underlying conditions that can make people more susceptible to Covid-19.
2020 saw EKF, which is headquartered in Penarth but operates globally, producing and distributing Covid-19 testing collection kits, which will be ramped up further in early 2021 with new production facilities in the Vale of Glamorgan.
Flyform

Cardiff-based tech firm Flyform, a sales and service partner of the ServiceNow B2B cloud platform, recently secured a significant six-figure investment to support its ambition of becoming 拢1bn turnover venture in the next decade.
The start-up which currently employs 40, but plans to grow to 100 with a focus on graduate recruitment in 2021.
The company鈥檚 current clients span a variety of sectors, including government, financial services and healthcare.
Hilltop

Newtown-based honey producer, Hilltop, is tipped for another strong 2021 having consistently been one of Wales' fastest growing indigenous firms over the last few years.
Based based at a 14,000 sq ft facility in Newtown, it produces a brand of pure and natural honey with the overall mission to help food consumers learn that 鈥榯here鈥檚 more to honey鈥.
Its customers include Sainsbury鈥檚, Holland & Barrett, Selfridges and on Amazon and Ocado.听 Its founder Scott Davies is upbeat on the trading outlook for 2021 and beyond
Hut Six

Hut Six Security is a developer of software-based information security training products.
The company benefited from an initial seed-funding round in spring 2017. This was led by Sir Terry Matthews鈥 investment vehicle, Wesley Clover. The company has since progressed from start-up and is now in the process of scaling up.
Having raised 拢450,000 in a second equity funding round, Newport-baed Hut Six is eyeing domestic and overseas expansion through additional operational support, as well as increasing sales and marketing activity.
Mrs Bucket Cleaning Services

The pandemic has highlighted the vital role of essential workers, which includes cleaners and firms like Swansea-based Mrs Bucket Cleaning Services.
Over the next five years the commercial cleaning business, which currently employs 250 across South Wales and the south west of England, is forecasting seeing its turnover rise fourfold to 拢12m.
2021 will also see the business continuing to recruit and expand its existing workforce by 50%.
Oxis Energy

Port Talbot-based Oxis Energy is听 pioneering advanced cell technology for next generation rechargeable batteries to power buses and trucks
With the support of a 拢3.2m equity investment from the Development Bank of Wales, Oxis Energy is developing the world's first ever manufacturing plant for the production of electrolyte and cathode active material specifically for the mass production of lithium sulfur cells.
The operation aims to have a workforce of 56 by 2023 and is forecasting to create hundreds more over the next decade.
Oxis is now in the process of manufacturing the first lithium sulphur battery cell, which it believes will revolutionise the rechargeable battery market.
Perimeter Fencing Solutions

Security fencing company Perimeter Fencing Solutions has hit the ground running since being set up in February having exceeded the 拢1m turnover barrier as it targets creating 50 jobs.
The Abercynon-based firm said within five years it is aiming to reach a 拢4m turnover, according to its directors Hywel Davies, Scott Thomas and Richard Salmon.
The business, which currently employs eight, said it also aiming to see its head count reach 50 over the same period. While it also has an operation in Essex, it said the majority of the new jobs will be based in Wales.
Project Blu

Eco pet product start-up firm Project Blu will embark on major expansion in 2021.
The Dinas Powys-based firm, set in 2019 by its founder and chief executive Geryn Evans has already sold over 87,000 products made from over six million plastic bottles, across its range that includes leads, harnesses, pet beds and toys.
In a recent major vote of confidence in its growth potential it has now been backed by San Diego-based Metamorphosis Partners, a venture capital firm dedicated to the incubation and acceleration of businesses in the pet industry.
The strategy will see Project Blu launching in the US in spring 2021. It is also planning to bring production to Wales.
Reacta Biotech

Deeside-based Reacta Biotech is on course to secure a market authorisation for its peanut diagnostic product within the next two years as global activity to treat peanut allergies ramps up.
Reacta expects Nestl茅 Health Sciences鈥 $2.6 billion acquisition of Aimmune to accelerate demand for food allergy diagnostics as the California based biotech business has already received FDA approval for the worlds鈥 first therapy to actively treat peanut allergies.
Reacta was established in 2014 and raised 拢1.25m equity finance in early 2020 to support its growth plans.
Riversimple

2021 could be the year that the all the stars align for Monmoutshire-baed Riversimple as the 海角视频 accelerates away from petrol-based vehicles.
The hydrogen fuel cell vehicle firm has launched a 拢150m funding raising听 round as it seeks to ramp up to mass production with initial plans for two factories each employing up to 220 staff in Wales.
In a vote of confidence it also has on board one of the world's leading technology firms in Siemens.
Transcend Packaging

Paper straw and cup maker, Ystrad Mynac-based Transcend Packaging, is poised for further expansion in 2021 after a successful 2020 which also saw it also pivoting to also provide vital PPE equipment to support the fight against Covid.
Since being set up in 2017 the company has seen significant growth and partnerships with leading consumer brands, that also include Starbucks and KFC.
Its ambitious expansion plans were backed in June with a 拢10m debt and equity investment round.
Under currently enacted legislation, over 50 billion plastic straws used in the 海角视频 and Europe every year will need to be replaced. Transcend expects to use the investment to cement its leadership position in the European marketplace.
Spectrum

Broadband firm Spectrum has expansion of its executive team, as well as the creation of 140 new jobs, on its agenda for 2021.
After achieving a landmark funding deal in October, Cardiff-based Spectrum has听 launched a recruitment drive to start to fill newly created, senior or specialised roles in the business, in a bid to help the company deliver its initial 拢200m full fibre broadband plan for South Wales.
Vizolution

Vizolution is a market-leading tech company that helps enterprises streamline complex customer journeys by replicating the qualities of face-to-face interactions in their remote channels.
Headquartered in Swansea, it employs over 150 people and has offices in Bristol, London, Boston, and Toronto.
It has developed new products and expand its operations in North America and South America.听 Having raised millions to support its growth plans, 2021 is expected to see Vizolution achieving even greater commercial success.
Yoello

Cardiff-based Yoello has developed an innovative mobile and payment platform that provides pubs and restaurants a cheaper,instantaneous and secure way to manage payments.
It said this has the potential to save the hospitality sector 拢8bn a year.
In 2020 the business expanded from a staff of four to 36 and by the end of 2021 it aims to accelerate to reach a head count of 130.
Expansion into Europe will be a large part of its focus in 2021.
