Companies based all across the North West have made a range of top hires and promotions over the last seven days.
The likes of law firms, shoe retailers and engineering consultancies have all made announcements recently.

Primas Law
Primas Law has announced the appointment of a new commercial partner at its Manchester officer.
Rory O’Hare joins the firm as a specialist commercial and non-contentious intellectual property lawyer.

Prior to joining Primas, he spent 12 years working in house with global brands, such as New Balance and Dreamworks, owner led start-ups and private equity backed companies across the ecommerce, retail, media and technology sectors.

Realm Recruit
Altrincham-based legal recruitment consultancy Realm Recruit has promoted four members of its specialist team.
Kelly Reid and Paula Pawlowska have both been promoted to the position of associate director.
Within the business’s marketing team, Lucy Cade has progressed to senior marketing executive and Katherine Memery has been promoted to principal marketing and PR executive.
Managing director Duane Cormell said: "I’m thrilled to have been able to promote Kelly and Paula to associate director, in recognition of their hard work and dedication to Realm over the last few years, as well as the immensely positive impact they have on the team and their leadership, both in setting an example, and supporting and helping others.

Lewis Silkin LLP
Lewis Silkin LLP has announced the appointment of Sally Hulston as a partner in its employment law team.
Based in Manchester, she joins the firm from Knights plc, along with managing associate Carly Mather, senior associate Ed Gregory and associate Hayden Whitman.
Sally Hulston said: "The employment team at Lewis Silkin is widely renowned and truly second-to-none, so I’m thrilled to be joining them and playing a part in their continued success.

HCC Solicitors
Emma Richards and Leanne Thomson have been promoted to partners at the Manchester office of HCC Solicitors.
Emma Richards specialises in claimant clinical negligence and joined the firm in early 2016 to head up the clinical negligence department.
Leanne Thomson is a solicitor who specialises in defendant law and advises leading insurance companies on high value and complex claims in the 海角视频 and abroad.
Chief operating officer Martin James said: "We are pleased to promote Emma and Leanne as partners in our Manchester office. Both are consummate professionals and experts in their fields of law. We are looking forward to growing and developing our clinical negligence team with Emma playing a key leadership role.
"Leanne is an outstanding defendant lawyer and we are pleased to promote her to this senior position as she continues to develop that area of the practice alongside her experienced colleagues."
Unbound Group
Unbound Group, the company behind Skelmersdale-based Hotter Shoes, has announced that chief financial officer Dan Lampard intends to step down from the role and the board effective from October 1, to take up the position of CFO with another business.
Gavin Manson, currently a non-executive director of the company, will take over as CFO.
Chairman Neil Johnson said: "The board thanks Dan for his contribution to the group through the AIM listing process and beyond, and we wish him well in his new role.
"We are delighted that Gavin has agreed to reassume an executive role as chief financial officer. With his extensive and highly relevant public markets experience, and his deep knowledge of the business, he is ideally placed to support our chief executive officer Ian Watson in delivering Unbound Group's strategy."
Harley Haddow
Harley Haddow has announced the appointment of Ian Chalk as a director in Manchester.
The multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy opened the North West base earlier this year as part of its ongoing 海角视频 expansion and recruitment strategy.
Mr Chalk joins the firm from construction engineering company Hoare Lea with 20 years’ experience in the industry and region.
Within his new role, Ian will be responsible for heading up the Manchester office, business development and growing the mechanical, electrical and public health, sustainability and civil and structural teams.
He said: "Harley Haddow has created a strong reputation as being innovative leaders in the engineering market and is clearly ready to grow further – with Manchester being the obvious choice.
"They’re a long-term established consultancy that shares similar values to my own, and the knowledge, team and experience in Scotland and in London means that this can only be a success for our clients; both existing and those we are yet to meet."
Northcoders
Manchester-headquartered Northcoders has announced the appointment of Joe Mulvey as its new head of data engineering.
Mr Mulvey, who is a former teacher and a graduate of Northcoders himself, joins the business from Inawisdom.
He has also previously worked at Greensill Capital and Auto Trader as well as having a previous career as data analyst, consultant and trader for Barclays Capital in the City.
His primary focus will be designing and honing the Data Engineering bootcamp curriculum based on his experience as a data engineer which spans a variety of sectors including e-commerce, finance and consultancy.
DSW Debt Advisory
Daresbury-based DSW Debt Advisory – which helps companies to raise debt funding – has made two new senior appointments.
Owen Malton joins from Virgin Money, previously known as Yorkshire and Clydesdale Bank, where he led the North of England structured finance business, while Matt Thomas was a director within the same team.
Founder Phil Tarimo said: "Owen and I worked together for many years at what was then Clydesdale and Yorkshire Bank, and I am delighted that both he and Matt are joining us. Their arrival will significantly enhance our debt advisory capabilities and will undoubtedly resonate in the market given the unequalled level of senior banking experience we can bring to bear to any transaction."
