1. Steve Howell

Steve Howell, non-executive chairman

Arcis Biotechnology, the nucleic acid sample preparation solution provider based at Sci-Tech Daresbury, has appointed Professor Steve Howell as non-executive chairman of its board of directors.

Steve takes over the position from Paul Foulger, who was serving as chairman on an interim basis.

Professor Howell has over 20 years’ life science commercialisation experience, supporting companies’ development and profitability. He founded Innova Partnerships in 2006.

2. Helen Taylor

Helen Taylor, new HR Director for Weightmans

National law firm Weightmans has appointed Helen Taylor as Human Resources Director.

Helen joins the firm from multi-million pound insurance company esure Group, where she spent five years as HR director, responsible for around 2,000 people.
