A towering 23-storey residential block in Salford offering sweeping views is due for completion next year, delivering nearly 200 new dwellings to the city.

Building work continues on the C2 residential tower, which forms part of the broader Salford Central masterplan centred on Chapel Street and New Bailey.

Upon completion, the development will provide 196 flats across the locality, featuring a combination of one, two and three-bedroom properties.

Occupants will have access to an on-site gym, communal living and workspace areas, plus a rooftop garden on the 22nd level.

Backed by CBRE Investment Management, it is the concluding element of three waterside residential schemes, alongside the Slate Yard and Novella developments.

Combined, these towers across the district will create over 800 residences.

ECF – a development consortium comprising Homes England, L&G, and Muse – has spearheaded the scheme in collaboration with Salford council.

The local authority indicated that the broader masterplan for the region could attract £650m of investment into the city, generating 11,000 fresh employment opportunities through the initiative.
