Detailed plans for a further 244 homes on land at Mosley Common in Tyldesley have been tabled by major 海角视频 housebuilder Taylor Wimpey.
This follows the submission of a similar 'reserved matters' application by Kellen Homes and Great Places Housing Group for 219 homes on land next to the Guided Busway, as reported by the Local Democracy Reporting Service yesterday.
Eventually, 1,050 homes will be delivered in separate phases at Mosley Common following the approval of Greater Manchester's strategic plan for development until 2039 last year, Places for Everyone.

Now that the site's principle of development has been established, Taylor Wimpey has submitted a honed-down proposal for the residential development on land north of Mosley Common, south of the Guided Busway.
It includes a mix of affordable and free-to-market homes and vehicle access off Mort Lane at the north west of the site.
There will also be temporary and permanent public open space, children's play space, and the provision of new and enhancements to existing footpaths and cycleways, and, where applicable, the re-routing, upgrading and extension of the public rights of way network.
Meanwhile, a related application has also been submitted for housing on land south of the Guided Busway, which will require the demolition of a house on Bridgewater Road to make way for the expansion of St John's Primary School, new parkland and wetland, public open space, and children's play space.
The scheme proposes 244 homes, comprising one, two, three, four, and five bedrooms, across a 'varied neighbourhood, tailored to meet local housing needs'.

Houses will be two to three storeys in height, as well as a mix of detached and semi-detached properties.
All houses will be designed to be accessible to people using wheelchairs.
As part of a legal deal, known as a Section 106 agreement, the developer will fund the site entrance at Bridgewater Road to the school land.
A design and access statement submitted on behalf of Taylor Wimpey by STEN Architecture says: "There is pressing need for the delivery of new market and affordable homes in the area.
"This site is suited to address this housing requirement for the benefit of the community. Taylor Wimpey acknowledges the importance of sustainable development that effectively meets the needs of both current and future generations.
"This proposal places a specific emphasis on providing high-quality public open spaces and effective development parcels with a particular focus on achieving significant biodiversity improvements."
