Ten Welsh firms are winners of King鈥檚 Awards for Enterprise 2024, which recognise excellence in 海角视频 business. Based across Wales, in sectors ranging from medtech to manufacturing, they are driving excellence in innovation, exporting and sustainability.
The award winners are:
- International trade and innovation awards for Cokebusters, based near Broughton. The company is a leading service provider in the field of mechanical cleaning and piping inspection.
- Innovation award for Limb-art, based in Blychau, a manufacturer of artistic prosthetic leg covers for amputees globally.
- Innovation award for Ruth Lee, based in Corwen, which specialises in creating realistic training dummies and aids used by safety experts across the world.
- Sustainable development award for Archwood based in Chirk, a family-owned and sustainable timber products manufacturer.
- Innovation award for Chepstow-based Creo Medical, which is developing and commercialising a suite of electrosurgical medical devices in the field of surgical endoscopy. Its medtech is also being used in pioneering robotic lung cancer treatment trials.
- Innovation award for Swansea-based Bionema Group, which provides natural biocontrol solutions for protecting crops from pests and diseases without harming humans or the environment.
- International trade award for Nodor International, based in Bridgend, which is a manufacturer of darts, dartboards and related products, exporting to over 80 countries globally.
- International trade award for Talbot Green-based Concrete Canvas, a market leader in manufacturing flexible, lower-carbon concrete products providing global infrastructure solutions.
- International trade award for Wrexham-based Tension Control Bolts, a world-leading supplier of high strength bolting assemblies for use in structural steel applications.
- International trade award for Haverfordwest-based FRIO 海角视频, a family-run globally supplier of medication cooling wallets enabling safe temperature transportation of medicine without using electricity.
