Welsh Government has announced a circuit break lockdown for Wales as well as a business support package for impacted businesses.
First Minister Mark Drakeford confirmed a "fire-break" for the nation to stem rising Covid cases.
Details of the measures announced by Mr Drakeford are here.
The move has been accompanied by a package of business support.
Here business, tourism and hospitality groups react to the announcement and the support package on offer.
Business groups

Ian Price,聽CBI聽Wales Director, said: 鈥淏usinesses are fully aware that public health must come first and have been doing everything they can to keep staff and customers safe, whether in pubs, shops, or offices. Getting a grip on rising infection rates now can help to maintain confidence and avoid further restrictions in the months ahead.
鈥淲hile the Welsh Government should rightly be commended for consulting widely before announcing these new measures, the temporary lockdown remains a severe setback to businesses across Wales 鈥 particularly in the hospitality, leisure and tourism sectors which have suffered so significantly throughout the pandemic.
"Transparency and clarity of messaging are key and businesses remain keen to better understand the strategy for living with COVID-19 through the autumn and winter.
鈥淭he 海角视频 and Welsh governments have worked extremely hard and already taken decisive steps to support jobs and companies鈥 cashflow over the past few months, and further ring-fenced business support for our hardest hit sectors is welcome as we enter the crucial winter period.鈥

Ben Francis,聽FSB聽Wales Policy Chair, said: 鈥淲hilst it is disheartening that coronavirus cases have increased to a point at which a fire breaker lockdown in required, we welcome the fact that Welsh Government have listened to the calls聽FSB聽Wales made over the weekend for a package of funding to support businesses through this lockdown.
鈥淭o give confidence to businesses at such a difficult time, we urge 海角视频 Government to respond immediately to Welsh Government鈥檚 proposal for Welsh businesses to take early advantage of the Job Support Scheme. This is a common sense suggestion by Welsh Government that could have huge practical benefit for many businesses across the country.
"Businesses will need to be able to draw this support down to give their workers peace of mind and help pay their wage bills.
"鈥淚t is important that self-employed and sole traders are able to access support over this period. Many, such as those within the trades professions or driving instructors for instance, will be heavily impact by the shutdown restrictions and so appropriate support needs to be available.
鈥淒etailed guidance will need to be made available as a priority to allow businesses to plan. Businesses need to know exactly who must close, and what restrictions might be imposed upon those that are able to remain open.
"We will be engaging with Welsh Government in the coming hours and days to ensure that businesses have all of the information that they need."
Robert Lloyd Griffiths, National Director for the Institute of Directors in Wales and the South West said: 鈥淭oday鈥檚 news is disappointing for businesses the length and breadth of the country but the short-term pain of a short firebreak is needed for the longer term benefit of our health and our economy here in Wales.
"We are in constant contact with Welsh Government officials and will update our members on the implications of the First Minister鈥檚 announcement as soon as the detail is provided.鈥
Tourism chief

Referring to the fact measures under consideration were leaked prior to the announcement, Jim Jones, the chief executive of North Wales Tourism, said: "It wasn't exactly unexpected, considering we realised at the weekend that the decision had already been made.
"He has shown the business sector a total lack of respect. He should have been honest about the decision that had already been made and allowed businesses an extra few days to figure out what the circuit-breaker lockdown means for them.
"I'm sad for our tourism and hospitality industry, as yet again, they are forced into an ever more desperate situation which is out of their hand.
"At North Wales Tourism we will continue to support our sector tirelessly in these uncertain times.鈥
Hospitality

海角视频Hospitality Cymru Executive Director for Wales, David Chapman said: " Another lockdown, even a short one such as this, is a severe blow to Welsh hospitality and tourism. If it has to happen, though,聽it聽is very encouraging to see the First Minister single out hospitality for support.
鈥淭he package announced today is welcome,聽positive and聽shows that the Welsh Government is listening to us.
鈥淚t is vital now that we get some further advice on how the Economic Resilience Fund will be applied, how businesses over 拢51,000 rateable value will be additionally helped and how the support announced by the First Minister is applied without delay to keep businesses alive and avoid further job losses.聽
"Once the firebreak is complete, we then need to see some really innovative thinking around how Welsh Government continues to support the sector and that must include a second look at current restrictions around opening hours. Hospitality is part of the solution, not the problem, to keeping COVID-19 at bay.聽
"We can lead on safe socialising, helping make sure people across Wales can meet friends and family safely in a licensed, protected environment."
Ambition Board

A NWEAB spokesperson: "As the virus continues to spread across the country more quickly during the colder autumn and winter months, we accept that stronger measures must be implemented by Welsh Government in response.
"However, the knock-on effect for our businesses and the economy is very serious.
"It's encouraging that,聽in tandem with these new restrictions,聽further financial support聽is being made available聽for those industries suffering most - notably tourism and hospitality.
"We hope that this 'fire-break' is successful in聽impacting聽the rising infection rates."
