Ultrafast internet provider vows 'a new era of connectivity for Bath'

A Somerset business says it has 'big plans for Bath' as it continues to roll out ultrafast internet connection to the region.

supplies some of Somerset's most remote communities with a reliable internet connection in a bid to ensure no one is left in the 'digital slow lane' as they call it.

The perils of slow internet will no doubt be a familiar hurdle for many individuals and businesses in Bath - and this is something Truespeed is looking to change.

Jez Allman, sales director at Truespeed, said: "We're levelling the playing field. Businesses - particularly SMEs - shouldn't have to suffer just because they operate from our historic city.

"And it shouldn't just be big businesses that are able to access the best connection either.

"Internet is the fourth utility and it needs to be stable and secure and we've made it our mission to light up black spots in the region to allow more companies to leave the digital slow lane into the ultrafast lane."

Despite only operating for less than five years, Truespeed has now helped more than 80 communities in Somerset receive ultrafast, full fibre internet.

The company also has a particular interest in championing local companies with its continued support as headline sponsor of the
