º£½ÇÊÓƵ's largest Christmas party venue to be launched at Birmingham NEC

The NEC has joined forces with Christmas party operator Vivid Experience to create a corporate celebration with a difference - offering everything from fairground rides and circus-style entertainment to gourmet food.

The NEC has joined forces with Christmas party operator Vivid Experience to create a corporate celebration with a difference - offering everything from fairground rides and circus-style entertainment to gourmet food.

Billed as “the º£½ÇÊÓƵ’s ultimate Christmas party venue for 2013” the events will see the entire Hall 12 at the NEC transformed into a party venue.

The hall will offer around 10,000sqm of flexible event space, expanding or decreasing in size to accommodate exclusive clients of between 500-3,500 guests, as well a series of mixed party nights with tables of 10 upwards.

The 2013 theme will be ‘Cirque’ based, with an array of aerial performances taking advantage of the NEC’s 10 metre internal height.

Guests at the Christmas parties - which run from December 6-21 - will be treated to a full evening of entertainment, indoor fairground rides and dinner prepared by the NEC Group’s caterer Amadeus, set within Vivid’s themed party environment.

Richard Longhill, managing director of Vivid Experience which operates venues across the Midlands, said: “The NEC offers us unrivalled options to create the next level of Christmas party, quite literally a Christmas party world under one roof.

“The response from businesses so far has been phenomenal and we already have strong enquiries from prestigious companies looking to book the venue on an exclusive basis.”

Kathryn James, NEC managing director said the initiative was an exciting one for the venue and would also offer an opportunity to gauge interest as regards the possibility of establishing a more permanent dining and awards space.
