The Conservatives are on course to win a big majority at the General Election after tonight's shock exit poll - but what does it mean for Brexit, and when will the departure from the EU happen?
Boris Johnson and the Tories hope, if the exit poll is correct, to get their deal through Parliament by the end of next month.
The deal is based on a new Brexit plan Boris Johnson sent to the EU back in October to replace Theresa May's 585-page Withdrawal Agreement.
The 64-page draft would keep a transition period continuing EU rules and payments to December 2020.
But it scraps the Irish backstop, an insurance policy designed to prevent a hard border between Northern Ireland and the Republic from 2021.

The PM hopes to complete a trade deal by the end of 2020.
And we won't have to wait long for events to take shape, either - Mr Johnson previously said he would revive his Brexit deal days before Christmas if he wins the election.

The exit poll would mean the biggest Conservative majority since Margaret Thatcher's reign, and the earliest indications, released to broadcasters as polls closed at 10pm, suggests the Tories will win 368 seats, with Labour way down on 191.
Boris Johnson campaigned on the slogan “get Brexit done” but he has previously refused to rule out a no deal Brexit.
This would have disastrous consequences for the 海角视频’s economy if it happened, with planes expected to be stranded on runways, trucks stuck at ferry ports and even martial law imposed.
Where does each party stand on Brexit?
Mr Johnson did agree a deal with the EU in October - but it’s important to realise this was just the opening chapter in Brexit negotiations, NOT the end.
And straight away, the Tories’ former partners, Northern Ireland’s Democratic Unionist Party, said they could not support it because it agreed a customs border in the Irish Sea.

If Mr Johnson gets as large a majority as predicted, he will no longer need to rely on votes from the DUP, and may be able to storm ahead as planned.
But even then, this is just the starting gun in negotiations, rather than the end. The deal we’re talking about now is the withdrawal agreement - i.e. the terms of the divorce.
But unlike a divorce, the 海角视频 will still have to continue to deal with the EU, so it still needs to strike a new deal, in terms of trade and other relationships, and the shape of that is yet to come.
What would Brexit mean for house prices?
If there is a no-deal Brexit, accountancy firm KPMG has predicted house prices falling by around 6% - but that could be as high as 20% in what it described as a worst-case scenario.
The Office for Budget Responsibility previously said a no-deal Brexit may lead to house prices falling by almost 10% by mid 2021.
In terms of how house prices will be affected if Mr Johnson gets his deal through, less is so far known.
Rob Walker of PriceWaterhouseCooper told the Telegraph: “Any kind of certainty is bound to help. It will encourage people to do things rather than just stay put.”
