The 海角视频 cities with the largest gender pay gap have been revealed in a new report.

The biggest difference in men and women's pay is in London, according to research compiled by payment provider Paymentsense, followed by Birmingham, Leeds, Liverpool and Bristol.

The company analysed data from the Office for National Statistics to determine which areas, age groups and job roles have the biggest difference in pay between men and women.

In the capital, women earn 拢8,303 less than men on average - a whopping gap of 30.4 per cent. This means women in London are working 71 days of the year free on average in 2019.

Meanwhile, the gap in Birmingham is 17.8 per cent, Leeds 16.3 per cent, Liverpool 15.6 per cent and Bristol 14.8 per cent.

Lauren Ahluwalia, Facebook SheMeansBusiness trainer said: 鈥淭here鈥檚 a general embarrassment around pay and sharing what you earn with others, but this encourages the taboo even more.鈥�

鈥淚n the end it鈥檚 the corporations that gain from the secrecy around pay by paying women less.

鈥淏ut when pay is such a motivating factor for employees, companies could also gain higher productivity when levelling out the pay gap and valuing women鈥檚 work鈥�.

The biggest difference in pay for the same job is a financial account manager role. Men in this job earn a staggering 49.1 per cent more than the opposite sex for doing the same thing.

Environmental health officer roles have the next biggest gap at 46.2 per cent, while mining production manager positions have a 43.6 per cent pay gap favouring male workers.
