º£½ÇÊÓÆµ Accor hotels report robust growth in 2023, with notable gains in Ibis division

The results for the Accor º£½ÇÊÓÆµ Business & Leisure Hotels and Accor º£½ÇÊÓÆµ Economy Hotels for 2023 have been revealed in accounts filed with Companies House

The º£½ÇÊÓÆµ operator of Accor's Novotel, Pullman and Mercure brands returned to profitability in 2023, with a significant profit increase in its Ibis division.

Recently published results for both divisions show a substantial rise in turnover and profit for their latest financial years, as reported by .

The filings with Companies House also reveal that occupancy rates and revenue per room increased over the 12-month period.

Accor º£½ÇÊÓÆµ Business & Leisure Hotels, which manages sites under the Novotel, Pullman, Mercure brands, reported a turnover of £282.3m, up from £239.5m.

The company also returned to pre-tax profit, totalling £12m, after reporting a pre-tax loss of £9.1m in the previous 12 months.

Over the year, the average number of employees in the division increased from 1,558 to 1,778.

A dividend of £20m was paid to its parent company, although no dividend was paid by the Ibis arm.

By the end of 2023, the division operated 28 hotels in the º£½ÇÊÓÆµ with 5,587 bedrooms.
