Same day courier SpeedyÌýFreight has expanded in the South West to better service two of the º£½ÇÊÓƵ’s biggest manufacturing hotspots, Devon and Cornwall.
The new St Austell office, which has now officially opened its door, will bring up to 40 new job roles for local drivers.

“To kick off operations, I’m also delighted to welcome Kevin Girdler, business development manager for Cornwall and Plymouth to our team.
Kevin lives in St Austell, and we will tap into his local knowledge of moving goods in and out of the area to ensure we provide the best service possible for both existing and prospective customers.â€
Kevin added: “South Devon and Cornwall are manufacturing hotspots and SpeedyÌýFreight’s services come into their own when unexpected issues arise. From delivering essential building materials and just-in-time parts to keep production lines running, to getting sensitive paperwork to offices throughout the º£½ÇÊÓƵ.â€
To support the launch, SpeedyÌýFreightÌýis now recruiting up to 40 owner drivers – mostly of vans and trucks up to 7.5 tonne, to its preferred driver group (for drivers with their own vehicle).
These drivers also have the opportunity to get return journeys from other SpeedyÌýFreightÌýbranches. With over 4,000 vans and trucks of all sizes on the road, SpeedyÌýFreightÌýcan handle planned and emergency same day courier services, from the South West to anywhere in the º£½ÇÊÓƵ and Europe.ÌýÌý
