A number of developments aimed at kick-starting the economy in North Wales could create thousands of jobs in the region.
The last 12 months has seen the biggest planned investment project - Wylfa Newydd - shelved, dealing a blow to the region's economy.
But there are other schemes that will help to bring much needed investment and jobs to the area.
Here are six developments that can help drive growth.
North Wales Hospital, Denbigh
The sprawling site – once a hospital for hundreds of people with psychiatric illness – closed back in 1995.
It has remained since then and previous attempts to develop the site have failed.
Now Ruthin based developer Jones Bros has launched consultation on their £30m+ scheme to provide 300 new homes which they say will provide a £75 million boost to the local economy.
Planning is set to be submitted and the company has already begun work on a new, purpose-built training centre on the Hospital site.

If planning is secured it is hoped that work will step up over 2020 and with the full scheme to take up to a decade this can provide a long term boost to the economy of Denbighshire and the wider North Wales.
Denbighshire/Flintshire tourism
The last few years has seen huge investment in the tourism sector in North Wales.
Much of this has been in and around Snowdonia with Zip World and Adventure Parc Snowdonia leading the way in pumping millions of pounds into the tourism offer.
But in 2020 there are plans for some significant investment in Denbighshire and Flintshire.
This includes a major holiday village project at Maes Mynan Park in Afonwen, near Caerwys.
It will feature 47 lodges around two lakes as part of phase one, with a further 63 static caravans and 70 touring caravan pitches becoming available over the following three years.
This will bring in major investment during the construction phase and then boost job and visitor numbers to that part of Flintshire.

Meanwhile a landmark tourism site in Denbighshire has
Dyserth Falls Resort - which went into administration in April - has been sold to Lyons Holiday Parks - which plans to invest up to £3m to transform the site.
Work is getting underway on the ambitious investment project on the main resort building - which includes 18 hotel bedrooms - and a revamp of the 79 wooden lodges.
It will provide a major shot on the arm to the tourism industry in the area - bringing up to 100 jobs.
Finally, in Llangollen, The owners of the Three Eagles restaurant and nearby luxury wedding venue Tyn Dwr Hall are working with Wrexham businessman Tom Bellis to transform The Royal Hotel.
These include two plunge pools as part of a "super-structure" that will be cantilevered over the River Dee.
Above the pool/spa area, additional accommodation with private balconies will be created.
Added up, these developments will bring a multi-million pound boost to the industry.
Wrexham expansion
A sports equipment giant has bought a large new site in Wrexham for a major expansion plan that secures its future in the town.
Net World Sports - which boss Alex Lovén relocated to Wrexham Industrial Estate in 2014 - now employs more than 100 workers and exports goal posts and other sporting gear around the globe.
With sales rapidly growing the company had been looking to expand operations and had been hunting suitable new premises.
Now it has announced acquisition of a new 47-acre site in Wrexham with the move backed by a £1.6m loan from Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking.
Located less than a mile from the company’s current 120,000 sq ft headquarters on Wrexham Industrial Estate, the new site has already gained planning approval for a further 400,000 sq ft. of commercial development.
Holyhead Marina X 2
This year could actually see two marina projects get underway in the port town of Holyhead.
In 2019 the owners of Holyhead Marina revealed their plans to rebuild the berths devastated by Storm Emma in March 2018.
Director Geoff Garrod wants to build a 500 berth marina - protected by a half kilometre long "rubble mound breakwater".
He is pushing on with securing planning for the scheme with hopes work could get underway in 2020.
Meanwhile just along Newry Beach there is a separate £100m project for 326 homes, a 500-berth marina, retail, leisure, restaurants, hotel and office space.
Conygar Investment Company is behind the development and says the funding is in place.
It expects to submit detailed planning and Marine Consent applications in early 2020.
Gwel y Fenai, Caernarfon
North Wales Live exclusively , which owns Ferodo, had completed the deal to take on derelict mansions Plas Brereton and Plas Tŷ Coch.
The developer announced that they wanted to build a holiday village and waterpark on the site and were in discussions with Landal Greenparks, one of Europe’s leading park operators.
It would include a hub which would provide a variety of leisure facilities, including a waterpark, bowling facility, kids soft play area, restaurant, café, fast food, shop, health and wellbeing zone.
Surrounding this would be 208 lodges as well as 55 apartments - including four within the existing Plas Brereton building which would be fully restored.
Meanwhile the developer will use the former Ferodo factory building's steel frame to create two large commercial units.
A pre-application and the plans are expected to be submitted early in 2020.
Gateway development
A company wants to create hundreds of jobs with a major hotel, homes and data centre development at a gateway site next to the A494.
Shotwick Ltd - which was behind the giant solar park on agricultural land next to Deeside Industrial Park - now has ambitious plans for neighbouring land.
Under the plans there would be a hotel and conferencing centre built - particularly targeting business clients in an area that boasts some of the top manufacturing companies in Britain.
They also want to bring a large data centre to a sizeable plot - using the fibre speed link and local sources of power that are needed.
There would also be a lorry park with 200 bays and a large 24 hour services - with other land used for 300 homes.
More details on the proposals are set to be unveiled in 2020.
