Richie Porte to open 2015 Cycle Show

Australian Team Sky rider will cut the ribbon plus ten other things to see and do at this year's event

Tour de France professional Richie Porte will open the 2015 Cycle Show at the NEC next month.

The Australian is a member of the Team Sky outfit which supported Britain's Chris Froome in both of his victories in the tour in 2013 and 2015.

He will launch the three-day event on September 25 and then join Tour de France reporter Ned Boulting for a live Q&A session later in the day.

Other cycling stars who will be appearing include Jens Voigt, Sean Kelly and Stephen Roche while around 280 exhibitors are expected to showcasing their wares.

Here are ten other things to look out for during this year's Cycle Show:

1) New bikes for 2016

As autumn approaches, manufacturers start to look towards next year and will use the event to show customers what they could be riding in 2016.
