A major step will be marked this week in a £7.8 million retail development in the Black Country.
Discount clothing chain Primark will open its latest store in Walsall on Thursday, forming the first completed part of the Old Square shopping centre redevelopment.
A Midlands Co-op Food Store next door will open during the autumn.

The Primark store will be 44,000 sq ft and the firm's 169th in the 海角视频 and 289th worldwide.
The old shopping centre, which included a Tesco store, was demolished in March last year to mark the start of the town centre regeneration.
Primark is also planning two new stores in Birmingham, one at the Fort Shopping Park in Erdington, and the second will see the
Waslall Council has invested £7 million into the development which is creating 170 new jobs.
Council deputy leader Adrian Andrew said: "I'm delighted that we have finally completed this exciting project.

"It's a massive boost for the town. You can feel the anticipation and excitement building as we count down the days and hours before the store opens.
"Just take a look around at what's happening in Walsall. There's some amazing regeneration work taking place in the town, delivering almost £40 million of investment and approximately 700 new jobs.
"The new cinema scheme at Walsall Waterfront is progressing well and is expected to be open early next year.
"Walsall College's state-of-the-art business and sports hub will be completed next month and includes business start-up space, a sports hall with badminton courts, dance and fitness studios, spa facilities and a fine dining restaurant all open to the public."
He added that other developments included the £3.2 million Jhoots Pharmacy HQ, due to create 30 new jobs and house 100 staff when it completes later this year.
And the £12 million St Matthew's Quarter shopping centre development, near the new Primark store, will create scores of new jobs.
