Frustrated residents are demanding their heavily is repaired after dubbing it among the worst in Birmingham.

They say that Reservoir Road in has been crumbling since it was badly flooded two years ago and, despite promises, no-one will get it fixed.

The busy road is used by buses, school coaches, delivery lorries and other heavy vehicles daily adding to the wear and tear.

Val Quigley, who has lived in the street for 32 years, said that in the June 2016 flood there was 鈥榓 torrent of water鈥 rushing through turning the road into a river.

She said: 鈥淲e were up to our knees in it. That was what damaged the road. At the time we were told that they would get it re-surfaced but there has been nothing.

鈥淭here are potholes so deep now that somebody is going to get hurt. A car is going to bump, lose control and hit another car, or worse knock someone door.

鈥淭here鈥檚 traffic going by all the time, it is getting worse every day. It is dangerous.鈥

Ms Quigley and her neighbours have taken the issue up with Conservative councillor Des Flood who is calling for urgent action.
