New CGIs for the first building in a planned £1bn waterfront high rise cluster in Liverpool have been revealed.
Plans have been submitted to Liverpool City Council by Davos Property Developments, in partnership with Beetham Davos, for a 28-storey residential tower on the first plot of their £1bn King Edward site development.
Beetham has collaborated with KEIE to acquire the former King Edward industrial estate on Gibraltar Row near the heart of Liverpool for a significant skyscraper project. The King Edward project, part of Peel's wider Liverpool Waters regeneration zone, will become a high-rise residential complex hosting more than 1,000 flats.

The proposed first tower, designed by Brock Carmichael, will include 255 one and two-bedroom homes. The application is for a plot that encompasses the former Bacchus Taverna at the Waterloo Road and Galton Street junction, situated at the northwest border of the seven-acre site.
Brock Carmichael's managing partner, Chris Bolland, said: "This is a bold expression that sets the design tone for the development going forward. We'll animate the ground floor on two frontages with leisure occupiers for the public to enjoy, and our entrance canopy offers a confident statement that will make the building a key marker on the route to Everton's new stadium."
The first floor of the complex will include a residents' lounge, gym and workspace, whilst the top floor will boast two indoor lounges along with substantial outdoor space dedicated to barbecues and social events. Pegasus Group's Darren Muir said: "The client's aim is to set the benchmark for residents' amenity, with almost fifty square feet of shared space per apartment. That's almost double the current top figure in the city."
The proposals include a 51 per cent to 49 per cent split between 2-bed and 1-bed units, with 15 per cent parking provision. The outdoor area will have 360-degree views of the Liverpool skyline, River Mersey, and the distant Welsh mountains.
King Edward Triangle is one of Liverpool Waters’ five constituent neighbourhoods, which includes Central Docks, Clarence Docks, Princes Dock, and Northern Docks, extending from the city centre’s edge to Everton FC’s newly constructed Hill Dickinson stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock.
