Ear to the Ground
Sport industry agency Ear to the Ground has appointed Richard Adelsberg as the new global CEO off the back of another record year and following the announcement of significant international expansion plans.
Ear to the Ground said it had enjoyed its strongest ever position as a business.
The Fan Intelligence creative agency - which specialises in using sport, e-sports and gaming to build brands that lead culture - saw revenues grow by over 30% and net profits triple in 2020, with a significant emphasis on international client work and team expansion at over 50%.

Mr Adelsberg, who was appointed MD in 2017, will continue to work alongside Owen Laverty and Dolan Hewison, who assume new roles of chief innovation officer and managing director, respectively.

CarMoney
Motor finance business CarMoney has appointed Cheshire-based Rebecca Wright, an experienced automotive sector salesperson, as its new North West regional sales manager.
Ms Wright, whose seven years with Audi 海角视频 saw her move from sales into management, joins a team determined to expand the CarMoney brand throughout the region.
She said: “I joined CarMoney because I was attracted by the company culture. It is somewhere I want to stay and progress in the knowledge that I will get full support from my colleagues.

CBRE
CBRE has expanded its Manchester occupier services team with the appointment of Frankie Isherwood who joins in response to a surge in demand from clients seeking support as they navigate the changing working environment.
Ms Isherwood joins after a five-year stint in CBRE’s highest-performing Northern division, Investment Properties, which during that time carried out £4.5bn of investment transactions and last year had 96% market share in Manchester office investment activity.
Frankie has had involvement in some of Manchester’s largest strategic funding and joint venture transactions including acting for Bruntwood on the formation of the Bruntwood Scitech JV with Legal & General in 2018.
She said: “Having joined CBRE as a graduate, I have been fortunate to work with the best Investment team in the region and I am excited to be bringing the knowledge and insight I have accumulated to the occupier services team at such an exciting time.”
OpenMoney
Financial services provider OpenMoney has prepared itself for a new period of expansion, with the appointment of Symeon Breen as its new chief technical officer.
Mr Breen joins from a recent role as vice president of engineering at Acuant, the American digital identity platform that acquired Hello Soda, a Manchester-headquartered provider of ID verification, Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) solutions.
He was part of the executive team that over four years took Hello Soda from startup to a multinational company servicing more than 175 countries and territories around the world. Symeon joins OpenMoney with an ambition to instil his trademark ingenuity, work ethic and strategic flair in spearheading a new epoch of growth for the financial services firm.
He said: “Throughout my career I’ve always been a firm believer in encouraging personal growth within teams and challenging myself - the role at OpenMoney provides the opportunity for me to do just that. Fleetsolve
Renewable bioenergy specialist Fleetsolve has appointed Roger Pearson as its new MD to drive the company into its next phase of growth.
Over the course of the pandemic, Wirral-based Fleetsolve has continued to grow successfully by renewing several major customer contracts, winning new customers and signing major international OEM partnerships.
Mr Pearson will lead on a number of these developments including the imminent launch of Fleetsolve’s e-commerce platform for the Original Engine Manufacturer (OEM) parts business.
He said: “Roger is joining us at an exciting time with several major projects in the pipeline over the coming months.
"His experience in building an operational structure that supports customer experience and growth, makes him the perfect fit to propel Fleetsolve forward and to help our clients further toward achieving their energy ambitions and zero-carbon goals."
Maguire Family Law
Divorce and family law firm Maguire Family Law has appointed Karima Al-Saidi as its latest solicitor, as the firm looks to expand its growing team.
Ms Al-Saidi has exclusively practiced in family law since she qualified as a solicitor in February 2021. She has spent the majority of her training contract in the private family law department, specialising in domestic abuse and children matters.
She studied at Chester University where she completed an undergraduate degree in Spanish and English Literature, before completing her GDL and LPC at BPP in Manchester. She was appointed in August 2021 and will be based at the firm’s Wilmslow office.
She said: “I am delighted to be joining the team during this period of rapid growth for the firm.
"Maguire Family Law has a strong reputation in both the Cheshire and Manchester markets so I look forward to integrating myself into the team and helping to support our clients in any way I can.”
ThisGeneration
Former journalist Connor Dunn has joined PR agency ThisGeneration.
He worked for the Liverpool Echo for six years in various roles across both news and sport.
Mr Dunn has joined the agency as a PR account manager and it is the first in a series of strategic appointments following a number of client wins for the agency, which was founded by former Labour Party communications adviser Dan Hughes.

Knowsley Chamber
Knowsley Chamber has announced the appointment of Lyndsay Stanistreet-Tyler as its new business relationship manager.
Ms Stanistreet-Tyler brings 35 years of experience to the newly created role and is well-known across Knowsley and the Liverpool City Region business network.
After more than eight years as general manager of the Suites Hotel & Spa in Knowsley, she will join the chamber to help grow and retain membership, help develop the calendar of activities and support the wider Knowsley business network.

Yipiyap
A North West tutoring company has appointed six new members of staff and moved into new larger offices to manage its growth.
Yipiyap is a nine-year-old peer tutoring company based in Altrincham, training sixth form graduates to tutor pupils in schools and colleges all over the 海角视频. The organisation has moved into new town centre offices opposite Altrincham Town Hall, increasing its meeting room space by three times and creating a new collaboration hub for training sessions.
The company has also welcomed Snezana Rosic and Jennifer Haynes as regional directors, Conor Farrelly as project director, Archie Batra as opportunities director, Luke Brierley as operations and data analysis manager and Amy Redman as project assistant and social media manager.

Public Relations and Communications Association
James Crawford, managing director of Manchester-based PR Agency One has been appointed by the Public Relations and Communications Association (PRCA) as a fellow.
As part of this new role, James Crawford will help to shape thinking on the future of the PR industry.
The PRCA, the world’s largest professional PR body, has welcomed 16 new fellows who have been recognised for their outstanding contributions to public relations in the 海角视频.
He said: “It’s a great honour to be recognised by the PRCA. My first business celebrates its tenth anniversary in September, so the timing of this fellowship has a wider symbolism too.

Plus Dane Housing
Plus Dane Housing has welcomed two new members to its board and two new independent committee members.
The new recruits join at an exciting time for Plus Dane, which recently retained its top 'G1/V1' rating from the social housing regulator and unveiled its first corporate plan under new chief executive Ian Reed earlier this year.
Gill Healey, a former managing director of Torus, and Chartered town planning consultant Marie Bintley will take up their new positions this month.
An initial single vacancy became available on the board with the retirement of Sandra Palmer, who recently fulfilled her nine year term. Plus Dane received a high volume of applicants for the post, and the calibre was so high it was decided to recruit two new board members at the same time.
In addition, broadcaster and communications specialist Vicky Matthews and improvement and innovation manager Chad Thompson have been appointed independent committee members.

Slater Heelis
Manchester law firm Slater Heelis is expanding its property litigation department with consultant solicitor John Gorner and associate solicitor Dan Leone.
The team was set up in 2016 and its expertise covers complex advisory work, high-value disputes and all aspects of contentious property, landlord and tenant law across residential and commercial property.

Cowgills
Business advisory and accountancy firm Cowgills has appointed Gemma McCaldon-Gower as a specialist VAT director into its growing tax team.
Ms McCaldon-Gower, who joins from Crowe 海角视频, has previously worked with HMRC and Deloitte and brings over 15 years’ experience to Cowgills, taking the total head count in the tax team to 25.

Browne Jacobson
Browne Jacobson has welcomed 17 aspiring new lawyers to its trainee scheme for 2021 to 2023 as it continues to grow its national business.
The new recruits have joined 17 trainees already at the firm, bringing the total number of trainee solicitors at Browne Jacobson to 34.
The trainees are split across the firm’s national five office network.
