Small businesses in northern Lincolnshire are to be championed in an innovative week-long celebration, launching later this year.
Support organisation E-Factor is to present The Great Big Small Business Festival, promising to 鈥渟ound the drum, ring the bell, fly the flag for the strength, diversity, and growth businesses across our region champion each and every day鈥.
It aims to get more people involved in what it describes as a flourishing community, underlining the immense contributions made to the economy, level of employment and supply chains for big business.

Mark Webb, managing director, said: 鈥淲e are delighted to be able to launch this festival and demonstrate to everyone the huge business talent that exists across the South Bank of the Humber. With so much attention on the area right now, it is time we put our best foot forward and make a noise about the diversity and strength of our local business community.
鈥淔rom the army of self-employed entrepreneurs to the sea of well-established and brand-new local businesses, the wealth of talent and innovation that exists in the area is outstanding. This is a chance to show that off to our employees, our community, and the rest of the country.
鈥淲e may be a small pocket of Lincolnshire, the 海角视频 even, but we know that big business more often than not doesn鈥檛 equal big numbers. To us, big equals, big talent, big drive, big determination and big heart. And our business community has that by the bucket load.鈥
The week will take place from September 30, promising a 鈥渃reative, diverse and exciting schedule of free events鈥.
Bookended by the North East Lincolnshire and North Lincolnshire Great Big Small Awards, with the regular feature of Business Hive Live in the midst, Mr Webb is promising 鈥渟omething for every business and every entrepreneur鈥.
Early confirmations include workshops on TikTok and photography for business, with branding and messaging also to be addressed. There will also be displays and exhibitions of new technology, new ideas and new tools.
鈥淣ot only has this event been designed to give you a glimpse into the future, it will also deliver opportunities for you to celebrate the present and expand your immediate horizons by networking - catching up with old friends and prospective new customers,鈥 he said.
鈥淲e want this to be a week shared by the whole of the business community, so, there will be the opportunity for your business to put forward an event of your own that can be included in the extensive promotion plans for the week. The only condition is that it must be free to attend, and that people should learn something new that will benefit their business.鈥
