The firm crowned the fastest growing business in North Wales is on track to open its £25m new headquarters this summer.

Equipment giant Net World Sports has been based on Wrexham Industrial Estate since 2014 and employs more than 230 staff.

It wants to expand further and last year started on a multi-million pound warehouse and office development just one mile away from their current site.

The firm is now on track for a grand opening on August 22 – although warehouse staff will be on-site ahead of that date.

Bosses said this week that all the steelwork is finished on the 411,000 sq ft base and the cladding is around 40% complete.

The plans feature a bar, gym, on site canteen, treatment rooms, football pitch, tennis court and running track.

Net World Sports is already on a recruitment drive with various roles on offer – from pickers to app developers.

Alex Lovén, founder and managing director at Net World Sports, said: “We’re hugely excited by the prospect of delivering such a fantastic working environment for our staff and we’re sure that the new site will help us attract even more local talent whilst also leaving us better placed to achieve our ambitious growth targets."
