Grŵp Cynefin has unveiled £38m plans for a health and wellbeing centre in Gwynedd.

The North Wales housing group has made public its vision document for Canolfan Lleu in Penygroes.

It is working with partners Gwynedd Council, Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board and Theatr Bara Caws on the proposal.

The site - formerly Express Motors - will offer:

• 36 bed residential home.

• 17 flats that facilitate independent living.

• Core general medical services with shared facilities, a community pharmacy and dental service.
