A business leader on Deeside says the area is “dying for growth” and has more potential than anywhere in the º£½ÇÊÓƵ.

Deeside Business Forum last week staged the North Wales Business Exhibition at Coleg Cambria, Connah’s Quay - attracting scores of firms and 1,500 visitors.

Chairman Askar Sheibani said this event helped highlight what the business community in the area was doing and its potential to grow even further.

Speaking to Business Post at the event last week, he said: “There are so many talented individuals here, and small businesses with potential for growth.

"This is an amazing area, we have two international airports around the corner, a direct link to London, Holyhead port, and fast fibre and we are investing the £240m Growth Deal.

“The potential here is greater than anywhere else I have seen.

“We can compete with London and the South East and it is so much cheaper here for businesses.
