The MEN Business Awards 2021 are open for entries, and we’re extremely excited to see nominations from the best and brightest of business in Manchester.

The coronavirus pandemic meant that the last year was extremely challenging for a lot of businesses in the area, and the country as a whole. It's for this reason that we’re so excited for the 2021 awards - to pull some focus towards those businesses that have worked to overcome such adversity and do great things nonetheless.

Businesses bring a lot to Greater Manchester - boosting the economy, enriching local areas, and making the region a more exciting and fulfilling place to live. So we wanted to make sure that we were celebrating the companies that help to make the Greater Manchester area what it is.

North West Business Editor Tom Houghton said: “We are absolutely delighted to launch the 2021 Manchester Evening News Business Awards.

“After what’s been the most difficult year in memory for firms in the majority of sectors, we are so excited to celebrate this city’s amazing entrepreneurial spirit.

"We look forward to shining a light on those who are leading the way and helping put Manchester on the world stage as a place to do business.

“The M.E.N has a long history of supporting and recognising those fantastic firms and we cannot wait to see first-hand some of the excellent work that’s being done.
