Andrew Pollard, managing director of Place Partnership

A new commercial enterprise run by six West Midlands public sector shareholders has launched.

Called Place Partnership, it is led by new managing director Andrew Pollard and sponsored by the Cabinet Office and is believed to be the first single-asset management company of its kind in the º£½ÇÊÓƵ.

The services to be delivered by Place Partnership include management of assets, facilities and properties, energy management and management of design and development work.

Its shareholders are Warwickshire Police, Worcester City Council, Worcestershire County Council, Hereford & Worcester Fire Authority, Redditch Borough Council and West Mercia Police.

It is anticipated the partnership will be expanded in the future as synergies with other organisations are developed.

Mr Pollard is a senior executive with 27 years of real estate experience.

He is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, a solicitor of the Senior Courts of England and Wales and a qualified barrister.

For almost ten years, he has served as a director of a number of significant international real estate vehicles engaged in investment, regeneration and development.
