New vision of Chamberlain Square as Paradise ploughs on

A new image showing how Chamberlain Square could look as part of has been released today.

The CGI (above) shows the two new buildings planned for the square along with public realm.

One Chamberlain Square, which has been will sit on the plot to be vacated by Central Library once demolition is completed later this year.

Directly opposite will be Two Chamberlain Square, created which also created the overall masterplan for Paradise.

Collectively, the buildings will have 330,000 sq ft of speculative office space and are due to be finished in 2018. This CGI below is an earlier version.

A public consultation on the designs will be held after Easter following which detailed planning applications will be submitted.

This first phase of redevelopment also around what is currently Paradise Circus island.

The new image has been unveiled today by the Birmingham team currently in Cannes at international property conference MIPIM.
