A developer is planning to build a new neighbourhood of energy efficient and affordable homes in Wiltshire.
Legal & General Modular Homes said the scheme at Bore Hill Farm in Warminster would be the first of its kind in the county.
The proposals are for a piece of land, west of Deverill Road, which is allocated for residential development in the Wiltshire Council plan.

Under the plans, the modular homes will be built in a factory off site and then assembled at the Bore Hill Farm development, where the finishings will then be added.
According to the firm, each home will have air source heat pumps and solar panels, and will have a minimum energy performance certificate (EPC) with an A rating.
Rosie Toogood, chief executive of Legal & General Modular Homes, said: “Our innovative approach is bringing high-quality modular homes that are comfortable, sustainable and affordable to the market.
“We are delighted to have made such an impact on the market in 2021 and are looking forward to adding to our growing delivery pipeline in 2022.”
The business is asking for the views of the public on the Warminster development before submitting formal planning permission. The consultation is running until Friday, December 17, at 5pm.
