The most eagerly awaited Birmingham restaurant in years can be unveiled with set to move to Waterloo Street.
The locally listed New Oxford House, opposite Purecraft Bar & Kitchen, is set to be renovated for , headed up by celebrated chef Adam Stokes, to move in if proposals get the green light.
Plans have been submitted to Birmingham City Council to convert three floors of office space into a restaurant, which will see the celebrated venture expand.
Adam’s , not to mention three AA rosettes, while at its on Bennetts Hill but the art deco New Oxford House will be its permanent home.
The new restaurant will boast more dining space as well as a chef’s table, open kitchen, glazed wine room and a development kitchen.
It is the latest of a series of bar and restaurant openings in the .
Lasan Group is set to open at nearby in a matter of weeks while has opened at the nearby and on Temple Street started trading earlier this year.
However, with Adam’s already one of four Birmingham restaurants with a coveted Michelin star, this is the most prominent announcement.

The application states: “Whilst the first Adam’s restaurant was intended as a temporary venue to establish their concept, the proposed site is intended as a long term venture with a level of investment to reflect this.
“Adam and Natasha’s passion and commitment has helped Adam’s to become a landmark venue within the gastronomic landscape of Birmingham, further helping the city to become a leading centre for eating out in the 海角视频.”
An application has gone in to the city council from holding company GS Fine Food & Hospitality, of which Mr Stokes and wife Natasha are directors.
It comes two years after the first Adam’s restaurant was established, which went on to secure number one restaurant in Birmingham status on Trip Advisor.
It sits alongside Purnell’s, Simpsons and Turners as the city’s Michelin-starred foursome.
If plans get the green light, Adam’s will occupy 6,100 sq ft of currently vacant space at the building – the 2,000 sq ft ground floor, 2,500 sq ft lower ground floor and 1,500 sq ft basement level.
A new foyer and bar for use by diners at ground floor level forms part of the plan, as well as a chef’s table to seat 11.

The application states the main frontage of the building, facing on to Waterloo Street, will remain as existing with a sign similar to the logo on the current Adam’s.
It added: “The proposed development will in our view provide a positive economic benefit to the location.
“Adam’s has become a key venue within the city, further enhancing its reputation as a culinary destination in the 海角视频. The expansion of their business will bring additional employment opportunities for six full time and six part time positions over their current staffing level. The total number of staff occupied at the site will be 30.”
