A growing online fashion phenomenon, a heating and plumbing merchant and an energy consultancy are among the fastest growing private companies in the 海角视频.
The annual Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100 league table ranks Britain’s private companies with the fastest-growing sales.
The three North East firms on the list have seen their combined sales grow by an average of 65% a year over three years to a total of £184.4m, and together they employ 819 people.

The region’s top-ranked company is Gateshead-based Northern Gas & Power, which is ranked at number 25.
The firm, which says it helps businesses to reduce their energy consumption by an average of 15-20%, has grown its sales over the last three years by an average of 92.9% a year, reaching £29.6m in 2018.

END., the online menswear retailer, meanwhile, makes its fourth consecutive appearance, rising two places from 69th to 67th in the table.
The business was launched as a single shop in Newcastle’s High Bridge in 2005 but now has three shops as well as its large Washington headquarters from which it now ships up to 15,000 products a day worldwide, with sales growth of 53% over three years, hitting £134.7m this year, 60% of which were generated overseas.

The second new entrant is Boldon-based heating and plumbing merchant with average sales growth of 50% over the past three years, hitting £20.1m in June.
The firm, ranked at number 76, has adopted the latest technology to aid its growth and uses virtual reality in its showrooms to show customers what their new bathrooms would look like.

The North East companies appear alongside businesses from around the 海角视频, including fitness clothing retailer Gymshark, beauty products retailer Revolution Beauty and brewer BrewDog.
