Travel trade association 海角视频inbound has chosen Manchester to host its annual convention in 2021.
The event is set to take place over two days in early February at the Midland Hotel.
海角视频inbound said it expects a 鈥榣arge proportion鈥 of its 400 members to come to the city for the event, which will feature industry debates, workshops and a networking dinner.
Supported by Marketing Manchester, delegates will also undertake 鈥榝amiliarisation trips鈥 for them to see the city鈥檚 tourism offer, the organisation said.
Sheona Southern, managing director of Marketing Manchester, said 海角视频inbound鈥檚 conference is 鈥減articularly important to Greater Manchester鈥 as it begins to rebuild the tourism and hospitality industry, impacted heavily by coronavirus.
She said: 鈥淲e are delighted that Manchester has been selected as the host city for 海角视频inbound鈥檚 2021 Annual Convention, which will bring influential delegates from the tourism industry into the city.
鈥淲e have worked closely with 海角视频inbound over many years to encourage visitors to Greater Manchester, and this will be an opportunity for us to showcase the best of our city-region鈥檚 accommodation, attractions, and hospitality to tour operators and travel experts to increase future demand in our region.鈥
