A team of six runners from financial services firm KPMG Enterprise in Birmingham is taking on the Morrisons Business Challenge next month.
The group is fund-raising for Cure Leukaemia and aiming to raise at least £2,000 as well as complete in between 90 minutes and two hours.
Team co-ordinator Lucy Fairclough said: "Our colleague's husband Frazer Lakin is a personal trainer and he was kind enough to design training programmes to get us all half marathon ready.

"Our strongest runner Gareth Wainwright is part of a running club and takes part every year so we're hoping for a great time from him.
"One of the firm's partners, Simon Purkess, has also joined the team so we're expecting big things from him too."
Jackie Kelly, Cure Leukaemia's head of corporate partnerships, added: "We have another strong team for the Great Birmingham Run and we are delighted to have a team from KPMG Enterprise representing the charity in October.
"The funds they raise will directly support our specialist research nurses in the Centre for Clinical Haematology at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and across the region and give hope to patients battling blood cancer."
Business Challenge teams must be a minimum of four people and a maximum of eight but companies can enter as many teams as they want in male, female or mixed-sex categories.

Mixed teams must have a minimum of two men and two women.
Team members must be 16 years of age or over on race day and placings are based on the accumulated first four finishing times in each team.
Every team that enters 12 or more employees will receive their own personalised company engraved plaque.
