A chartered accountant from Birmingham has been named by the Liberal Democrats as their candidate in next year's West Midlands Mayoral election.
Jenny Wilkinson has worked for KPMG since the mid-1990s and has spent the past two decades as a specialist in forensic accounting and fraud.
She is currently a performance leader in charge of a team of 80 staff at the firm's offices in Birmingham city centre.
Ms Wilkinson also stood as the party's candidate for Sutton Coldfield in the 2017 and 2019 General Elections and as a candidate for the European Parliament in 2019.
She said she would focus on the core themes of transport, skills and lifelong learning, housing and homelessness during her election campaign.

"Helping the people, communities and businesses of the West Midlands is something I was already working on before becoming a mayoral candidate," he said.
"The covid-19 pandemic has impacted all of our lives and communities and has brought to light the problems we face as a region.

"Improving our transport links, investing in skills and lifelong learning and tackling rising homelessness, due to a woeful lack of warm, safe and affordable housing have, for shame, long been challenges in our area.
"If the last few years have taught us anything, it's that we are more successful, both as individuals and as communities when we work together.
"While access to basics like housing, education and transport should be readily available for all, we know that too often people have to go without."
The election was due to take place in May but was postponed for 12 months as a result of the impact of the coronavirus lockdown.
Ms Wilkinson, who was born and bred in Sutton Coldfield, replaces Beverley Nielsen as the Lib Dems' candidate.
The director of Birmingham City University's Institute for Design & Economic Acceleration had intended to stand before the election was postponed but stepped down in the summer, citing issues combining a longer election campaign with her other roles.
She has since joined Liam Byrne, Labour MP and the party's mayoral candidate, to advise him on environmental matters during his campaign.
Incumbent Conservative Mayor Andy Street will stand also again next year.
