Eastern Airways is supporting a right royal rush for a Cornish jubilee getaway.
Capacity is being increased on the new route from Humberside to Newquay, only launched last month, as passenger numbers take off.
A double bank holiday prior to the weekend of June 4 has seen demand climb, leading to bosses at the regional airline switching planes.

The larger 68-seater ATR 72-600 will be deployed on the Friday and Monday, taking over from the usual 29-seater Jetstream 41, while an additional service will fly on the Thursday, the first day of the platinum celebrations for the Queen’s reign.
In total it means a 250 per cent increase in capacity.
"Identifying opportunities to improve or expand our service to customers is at the forefront of what Eastern do” said general manager Roger Hage. “The extended bank holiday and additional celebrations that come with the Platinum Jubilee are an excuse for many to get away and enjoy time with family and friends.
"Adding the extra seat capacity and extra days given the high demand for services will allow for far more passengers to make the most of this weekend and complement our twice daily services to London Gatwick from Cornwall.”

It comes as the twice-weekly service through the summer season has been extended. The Monday and Friday offering, on which fares start from £74.99, will now stretch to September 19 to “keep up with demand and to let passengers make the most of that September sun or increasingly for business access given the significant time saving offered compared to surface transport options”.
Eastern had been due to bring the service to a close on September 2, but five further flights have now been added.
