Jobs secured as Tulway buys huge Teesside site in multimillion-pound deal

The firm said it will now embark on a five-year period of 'substantial' growth

A national fabrication and engineering group has secured jobs after buying a huge workshop in Middlesbrough in a multimillion-pound deal.

Merseyside-headquartered Tulway has bought the prominent, 30,000sq ft fabrication workshop, which is one of the biggest of its type in Teesside.

The site on Sotherby Road has a 20 tonne overhead lifting capacity, as well as long-term supply agreements.

Tulway, whose clients include National Grid and Stellantis, said on Monday the move secures 23 jobs at the Middlesbrough site, which becomes its second º£½ÇÊÓÆµ premises alongside its Knowsley HQ.

The workshop, on Sotherby Road, will continue to support all existing clients, providing a "seamless transition" as well as offering a full range of fabrication and extended project services to businesses across the º£½ÇÊÓÆµ.
