East Yorkshire’s new £8m Porsche dealership has officially opened its doors.
The showroom, brought to Hessle’s Bridgehead Business Park by car dealer Listers Group, features the latest luxury models from the German sports car maker.
Creating over 30 new jobs initially, the new dealership officially opened its doors on Monday morning, becoming the latest big name to join the growing business park.
Terry Lister, who founded Listers in 1979, said: “We are absolutely delighted to see the new showroom open, and are delighted to be here in East Yorkshire.
“This is Listers’ first Porsche dealership, and is the culmination of around five years of talks with the company.
“We are very proud – it is quite an honour to have got Porsche on board.”
The showroom, which also , is one of several new luxury car developments Listers has announced for East Yorkshire.
Just down the road at the Meltonwest Business Park, Listers is also working on a £10m Mercedes-Benz dealership.

The two showrooms come as a vote of confidence in East Yorkshire from Listers.
Mr Lister said: “My son Geoff, who is now the MD, raced Porsches for 11 years from the age of about 20.
“Porsche has been a massive part of his life, so we are particularly pleased now to be able to represent Porsche in this way.
“There was an opportunity for this dealership to be in a few different places, but we chose an area where we know we have the staff. The people are the most important part of the business.
“It is important to know the area, and to know its people, and we have that here.”
Plans for the showroom were first unveiled in November 2018, before being approved by last year.
Speaking at the time plans for the showroom were approved, East Riding Council leader Richard Burton said: "I think it's an excellent development, it oozes quality and will surely encourage more quality offices alongside it.

“I think it opens the door to a really successful further development of the site."
Other notable tenants at Bridgehead include bathroom retailer Victoria Plum.com, laser manufacturer Luxinar, The One Point and the renewables-focused ergo centre.
In October, work was also completed on the £12m Aura Innovation Centre on the site .
The new Porsche dealership in Hessle is now officially open to the public.
