Derbyshire-based Clowes Developments has sold one of the plots at its Castlewood Business Park, on the outskirts of Nottingham.

ConSpare and sister company ProSpare have bought the 19,400 sq ft plot for an undisclosed sum and will move in early next year when the building is complete.

The single story industrial warehouse unit with two storey offices sits at the entrance to the business park which has already seen 1,500,000sq ft of industrial space built and occupied. The site is close to Junction 28 of the M1.

ConSpare was launched in 1978, and supplies spare parts and support to the º£½ÇÊÓƵ concrete producing industry.

ProSpare was founded in 2007 and works with companies involved in the handling and processing of powders and raw materials in sectors such as quarrying, recycling, glass and food manufacturing.

The deal will see 40 staff moving to the new facility, with space for more to join them in the future.

The additional warehouse space is 400 per cent bigger than ConSpare and ProSpare’s previous premises in Pinxton, will allow them to improve the efficiency of their warehousing operations and further modernise the way they work.

James Bullock, who is managing director of both ConSpare and ProSpare, said: “The location is ideal, and the chance to plan the building ‘from the ground up’ will allow us to implement many improvements to the businesses going forward.
