Education policy may not be the strong suit of Midland candidate Sue Arnold after poster spelling blunder

A Conservative candidate in a marginal Midland seat boasted about being part of the local community.

But she won't be boasting about her spelling after she managed to spell "community" wrong on a high-profile poster.

Sue Arnold, Tory candidate for South, produced a poster declaring: "Local girl, local champion, local comminity".

The howler was spotted by a user - who shared it with the world.

Former Education Secretary Michael Gove, visiting nearby , is unlikely to be impressed. Maybe he could give her a lesson in spelling.

Mrs Arnold describes herself on her official website as "ambassador, business guru, community champion, doyenne of the arts". She's also former publisher of local newspapers.
