A new resource to help regional companies recruit and retain talent has launched with Humber Business Week.
Employee engagement was the hot topic as the curtain opened on the 2022 event, with the Your Time print and digital publication outlined.
It showcases the career and lifestyle opportunities the Humber offers young people to attract and retain talent on the Energy Estuary.

Marketing Humber, in partnership with leading specialist, Hessle-based H&H, welcomed business leaders from across the region to the MKM Stadium for Talent on the Move.
Bill Walker, Marketing Humber chair, said: “We are delighted to kick off Humber Business Week 2022 with an exciting launch event, delivered in partnership with award-winning East Yorkshire-based agency H&H.
“The pandemic has changed how we do business, and where we do business - it’s a huge opportunity for entrepreneurship, and for innovative people to create the businesses of the future.
“We are excited to launch our new recruitment guide Your Time, showcasing the career and lifestyle opportunities offered to young people by the Humber, in turn attracting and retaining talent with our unique regional offering.”

It comes as a campaign to make Hull a co-working capital builds too, having been launched by Hull West and Hessle MP Emma Hardy.
The plan is to create hubs for working, building on rail and tech connectivity, as jobs disperse from the capital and other major urban areas.
Attendees taking part in the interactive event learned about innovative solutions to upskilling dilemmas, changing employee expectations and talent acquisition and retention challenges.
Hannah Thoresby, creative director at H&H, said: “The pandemic has fundamentally changed the working world and that is not going to go away. We need to adapt and work out what works today. But, as we all know, when we need to adapt quickly, we can.”
The University of Hull partnered with Marketing Humber as main sponsor of Your Time, and will use the publication extensively at student recruitment events.
Anja Hazebroek, director of student recruitment and marketing at the university, said that retaining and attracting young talent is "fundamental" for the Humber region’s continued success.
She added: "We are proud that many of our students are from the region and that many more from across the country, and indeed the world, choose to study in Hull.

The digital version of Your Time will be launched next month, and will be free for Bondholders to use.
Marketing Humber’s next event as part of Humber Business Week is the on Thursday at 2pm at Aura Innovation Centre.
