Humber LEP hunts new chair to replace Lord Haskins in top role

Lord Haskins announced in September he is to leave his position as chair at the Humber LEP, having taken up the role in 2011

The hunt is on to find the next Humber LEP chair after Lord Haskins announced he was stepping down from the role last month.

A dedicated supporter of the Humber region, Lord Haskins has worked tirelessly to ensure the views of businesses across both banks of the estuary are represented at the highest levels of government.

Under his leadership, significant growth has been seen in the Humber region, with new jobs created and big investments brought in.

Lord Haskins announced in September he is to leave his position as chair at the Humber LEP, having taken up the role in 2011.

Now, the application process is open to find his successor.

The role provides an opportunity for a determined individual with the skills and experience to lead the Humber LEP, as it builds on its national reputation as ‘Energy Estuary’ of º£½ÇÊÓÆµ.

Leading the LEP will also include developing and delivering on the soon to be published Local Industrial Strategy – designed to accelerate clean growth and decarbonisation.
