A home repairs firm has announced its largest ever North West recruitment drive as it looks to create over 100 jobs at its Preston base.

HomeServe said over the next six months, it is aiming to add another 102 roles to its Preston team, which currently employs more than 240 people across a number of customer service functions.

The firm provides nationwide emergency cover for a range of repairs services including plumbing and heating, and is looking to recruit new claims advisors.

Kasia Klunduk, head of recruitment, said: “The key to our ongoing success is prioritising our customers’ needs and ensuring we keep their lives moving when they need repairs on their homes.

“These new claims advisors roles will, without doubt, be essential in helping us achieve that.

The roles may initially be based remotely in line with current Covid-19 guidance, the firm said.
