Hollywood Monster MD steps down to pursue new projects

Birmingham signage firm Hollywood Monster has appointed a new managing director on the back of client wins and as part of its growth plans.

Simon McKenzie steps up to the top job, having been with the company for 16 years as sales director.

Mr McKenzie takes over the role from Tim Andrews who co-founded the company with his father 25 years ago.

Mr Andrews, who was recently has decided to concentrate on a number of growing other projects but he will retain his shareholding in the business and became chairman.

Mr McKenzie said: "The past three years have seen big growth for Hollywood Monster, with the business boasting £7 million turnover and employing over 75 people.

"We have continued adding to our client base, with work across the º£½ÇÊÓÆµ and Europe, proving that we're a major player in the signage market.

"I am proud of what the sales team has delivered, and continues to deliver, but moving into this new role gives me and the business time to consolidate our processes and focus on delivering the best possible service to new and existing customers."
