The head of a Birmingham graphics and signage company which has worked with Arsenal FC and Coca-Cola has been crowned the region's director of the year.

Tim Andrews co-founded Hollywood Monster with his father John in their loft space in 1991 and still leads the business as its managing director.

Among its previous projects are huge banners for Arsenal FC to celebrate their victory over Aston Villa in the 2015 FA Cup Final and a Coca-Cola mural on a bridge next to the 2012 Olympic Park.

He won the accolade today from the West Midlands branch of the Institute of Directors (IoD).

West Midlands chairman Jason Wouhra praised Mr Andrew's "incredible contribution" to both business in the region and the community.

"Tim is quite simply a force of nature, somehow managing to fit several jobs into a working week," he said.

"It's clear from clients' comments that he always puts them first and leads by example with his astonishing work ethic.

"Throughout the recession and ever since, Hollywood Monster has posted consistently strong growth and profits - a testament to his strategy to continually invest in the company's people and technology."
