Growing property firm acquires two Stoke-on-Trent business parks from St Modwen

Sandyford Properties has completed a deal to acquire 49 office and industrial units in Trentham

Trentham Trade Park and Trentham Business Quarter at Trentham Lakes

Growing property firm Sandyford Properties has acquired a major Stoke-on-Trent business park from developer St Modwen.

The Hanley-based company has completed a deal to acquire a number of freehold units - as well as the freehold reversion - of the entire Trentham Trade Park and the Trentham Lakes-based Trentham Business Quarter from the Birmingham firm.

Constructed between 2008 and 2019, the trade park and business quarter developments are made up of 49 office and industrial units which are home to a number of well-known occupiers, such as Screwfix, Howdens and Autoglass.

Paul Brindley, director of Sandyford Properties, said: "Alongside Festival Trade Park, where we also have some property holdings, Trentham Lakes represents one of the best and most popular business locations in the city.

"It consists of largely smaller units and is an appealing destination for both established local businesses and for national businesses looking for a presence in the area.

"Trentham Lakes represents premium space in the area and bolsters Sandyford's ability to offer a variety of business space, at a variety of price points, to growing businesses at all points in their development.

"We hope that this will become a core strategic site for us for many years to come."

Sandyford Properties specialises in commercial property rental at various locations across Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire.
