Tickets for the are set to sell out 鈥 as work on the new venue approaches an end.

will move for the first time in more than 40 years, with its swan song on Sunday, September 21.

The club is , the former Vudu Lounge, in Smallbrook Queensway, in a 拢2 million relocation after more than 40 years of loud music proved too much of a problem for its ageing Paradise Circus home.

With tickets about to sell out, the Post is offering an exclusive opportunity to win tickets for you and four of your friends at the final night at Snobs. .

Owner Wayne Tracey told the Post he had been surprised by the response since announcing the move.

He said: 鈥淲e are getting lots of contact 鈥 the phone is ringing off the hook, as well as Twitter and Facebook. It is crazy 鈥 it just hasn鈥檛 stopped.

鈥淲e are very close to capacity now. There will be 600 people there for the last four nights.鈥

Mr Tracey, who has promised to recreate at the new venue, said a different pricing structure was put in place for the final nights because of vast demand a 鈥 拢20 fee, which comes with three free tickets to the new venue in October or November.

He said this was not done to profit from the close 鈥 demand is so strong they could charge a lot more 鈥 but to control the flow of people to the club.

鈥淲e took the decision to price the final nights at 拢20 with free tickets for the new venue,鈥 he said.

鈥淲e had to do something 鈥 if we just went for the normal price we would have had 2,000 people outside and it would have been mayhem.

鈥淣othing has changed really 鈥 you鈥檙e still paying 拢5, but you get four tickets, one for the final night at the old Snobs and three at the new one.

鈥淚t is not that we are taking advantage 鈥 we just had to do something because we didn鈥檛 want thousands of people stuck outside.鈥

The first night at the new Snobs, which will hold up to 1,400 people, will be September 24.

The move has been the talk of Twitter in the past year, with Snobs holding a unique place in the heart of people from Birmingham.

Mr Tracey added: 鈥淲e are very confident about the new venue. The way it is coming together is really exciting.

鈥淚t is probably more like the old Snobs than I thought it would be. We have had the fall of faces go into the entrance this week and it is all coming together.鈥
