General Election 2015: Warley set to remain Labour, bookies say

Warley has only ever been a Labour seat and John Spellar's rivals have their work cut out to change that, according to bookmakers

John Spellar is the only MP Warley has ever had and bookies say that is set to continue.

’s former Shadow Minister of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs Mr Spellar has held the seat since it was created by the Boundary Commission in 1997.

According to Ladbrokes, there is little likelihood of that changing with Mr Spellar at 100/1 on to win in the 2015 General Election.

He secured almost 53 per cent of the vote last time, more than twice that of his nearest competitor.

’s Pete Durnell is considered the next most likely by Ladbrokes, although at 25/1 against.

Both the ’ Tom Williams and are 100/1 against with the bookmaker.

All odds are subject to change and were correct at the time this story was written.
