Future of First Install Ltd secured after 75% stake sold to Butler & Green

It's hoped the deal will enable new investment and growth

A worldwide furniture installation company based in Greater Manchester has completed a deal to secure its future, allowing new investment and growth to build on its current services.

Founders and directors Malcolm and Anne Hague, have sold their 75% share in Irlam-based company First Install Ltd to Leyland-based Butler & Green plc.

Their son, Richard Hague, retains a 25% shareholding and the position of sales director on the board of the Irwell firm.

Malcolm will become the company chairman, overseeing the client list and service delivery from its headquarters in Irlam.

Guy Newton, CEO of Butler & Green, has been appointed MD and will be responsible for driving growth and investment.

Mr Newton has more than 20 years of experience in the furniture sector, bringing knowledge, experience and focus to drive the improvements and growth.

He said: “First Install is a first-class company operating installation and warehousing services in the furniture industry.
