A West Yorkshire-based mobile energy specialist is expanding across the º£½ÇÊÓÆµ.
Generator Power has secured an eight-figure funding package to increase its hire range, with investments covering sustainable technologies including hybrid generators and battery storage units.
The business, which has just clocked up a quarter of a century of trading, is one of the largest companies in its sector, meeting requirements from 20kVA to 2,000kVA.

The Normanton team anticipates creating new jobs alongside the capacity boost, with demand rising across the sectors it serves, including critical national infrastructure customers such as hospitals, telecoms, utilities and retail.

In its last reported financial year the company turned over £49.9 million, with a total of 266 people employed. Alongside contract hire it provides emergency response, project management, telemetry, training and fuel management services.
The backing has been secured from HSBC º£½ÇÊÓÆµ with Mazars Accountants advising.
