Full list of where Welsh Government Economic Resilience Fund money has gone

The Government has revealed the hundreds of businesses who have received Covid funding support

Welsh Government has revealed where £124m in emergency Covid funding has gone as they support businesses across the nation.

Economy minister Ken Skates announced the £1.7bn Economic Resilience Fund this spring as the economy went into freefall due to the pandemic.

Now they have published where the first tranche of ERF funding has gone with nearly 7,000 businesses applying for some sort of support.

Support ranged from micro grants of up to £10,000 and SME grants of up to £100,000.

A total of 4,876 application were made for micro-grants with £47,824,971 allocated.

There were 2,058 SME grant applications with £76,744,140 awarded.

Among those supported were Ospreys Rugby with £65,000 and Scarlets Regional with £35,000.

Hotels across the country were backed - including Hotel Metropole Llandrindod with £100,000, St Brides Spa Hotel in Pembrokeshire (£100,000) and the Empire Hotel in Llandudno (£85,883).
