FSB conference to highlight 'incredible opportunities' in North Wales

A business group wants to highlight the opportunities in the region for small firms at its annual conference.

The Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) is shining a light on North Wales’ small business economy at their event on Thursday July 18 at the Quay Hotel and Spa, Deganwy.

The conference, opened by the Deputy Minister for Culture, Sport and Tourism, Lord Dafydd Elis-Thomas, will talk about the incredible opportunities available to businesses.

SME business owners are invited to hear about the positive contribution world-beating tourism companies make to the economy from guest speaker Jim Jones of North Wales Tourism.

Jamie Sheridan, Chair of North Wales Exporters’ Club, will talk about the opportunities available to those who are willing to explore trading internationally.

In addition, the FSB will be looking to the future with presentations from Morlais Tidal Energy and Transport for Wales, exploring how small businesses can leverage developments in the area and thrive in a modern economy.
